The Spartan Marching Band of Glenbrook North High School has proudly represented their hometown of Northbrook, Illinois both nationally and internationally for the past 40 years. They have been awarded top honors as both a parade unit and field show band in contests in over 15 states. They have appeared in the MACY’S Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, the Cotton Bowl Parade in Dallas, Texas, the Peach Bowl Parade in Atlanta, the Hall of Fame Bowl and the Outback Bowl in Tampa. The band has traveled internationally to such places as Vienna, Austria- Dublin, Ireland -London, England -Dundee, Scotland –Rome, Italy and Oslo, Norway.
